85mm fun

Here’s a random shot I took while testing out the Canon 85mm f/1.2L.  I was showing Veronica some differences between flash techniques, and ended up with this one.  Completely ballparked flash settings, firing from the side into her glass of ice water.  Again, don’t mind

My Time’s Gone By

Those of you who know me personally know that I’m a musician, largely in part because of my dad, who has been playing music longer than I’ve been alive.  He’s been a working musician for decades, playing in bands, trios, duos, and for the later

Steve’s White iPhone 4

Steve managed to snag himself a white iPhone 4! Well, not really. He actually had his black iPhone 4 modified it through iFixDirect, who now offers color swaps for the iPhone 4.  Looks pretty damn good to me, even the headphone jack and dock connector

Solo Flight

I just got back from a nearly week-long trip out to Nebraska to see a long-time friend.  Also, the second time I’ve ever flown (both times to see the same friend).  Definitely the first time I’ve gone this far away from home.  Exciting times, despite

This Many Bikes Only Means One Thing…

Things To Do With A Bodybag – Go To The Park

Once in a while, great ideas are had.  They change the way you think, the way you look at art, and maybe society.  When these ideas spring to life, they can enrich your existence in ways never before thought possible. This is not that kind

The Brightness Is Bright

Another photo from the Apple Hill trip.  Again, forgot the farm name, but there was this huge stack of apple bins behind the barn-type building, and I got a few interesting shots.  I don’t shoot enough of patterns and whatnot, so I thought I’d do

Brother From A Different Mother

I’ve had this shot lying around in Lightroom for a while, and I never got around to doing anything with this day’s shots.  We went up to Apple Hill in October, and this one was a collaboration between Steve and I (mutual idea, his iPhone).

Day 4/365 – Street Fighter IV

I know, I know.  I’m horrible.  I only got Day 1 because it was after midnight during an existing shoot, and I didn’t even bust out the camera on Day 2 or 3.  Wow, talk about fail.  Anyways.  I decided that I really need to
